I'm a people's person (always happy) with a deep passionate love for football and I take pride and honour in helping our youth, from all backgrounds (not just with football related issues) and to motivate and encourage them.

2013 - u11C League Runner-up, Cup runner-up
2014 - u12B ; 2015 - u11A
2016 - u12B in 6th place (13 game winning streak) Cup semi-finalists
2017 - u13A - finish 5th place, Cup quarter finalists
2018 - u14A finish 4th, Cup quarter finalists
2019 - u16A - finish 4th place, behind top football academies, while the entire squad was 15, Cup quarter finalists, competed in the Durban Metro Cup in Durban (first team tour) - finished runners up

I began coaching in 2019 at Camps Bay FC.
I started out coaching the u9 team and began helping out with the u14 team.
I currently play for Camps Bay FC and have been to the Gothia Cup 3 times with the Rainbow Team.
I’ve have represented South Africa at the Futsal World Cup and have participated in two Maccabi Games for Futsal.

My name is Peter OConnor and I am 25 years old. I did my coaching badges in London with Arsenal Football club. Thereafter I spent 4 months coaching in Ghana as part of the Arsenal Foundation programme. I have coached children from different social situations as well as from different parts of the world and I believe this has taught me to treat everyone equally and to provide everyone with equal oppurtunities.

As a coach for Camps Bay F.C. I hope to provide a fun enviroment for the kids where they can enjoy playing football and making new friends.

I joined Camps Bay FC in 1996 as an u17 player when I was 16 years old.
The following year, the chairman of Camps Bay FC asked me if I wanted to coach and I said yes! So I started coaching at CBFC in 1997 and am still coaching at the club.
I still played for the CBFC seniors while I was coaching.
I am a passionate footballer, both as a player and a coach.

Represented WP at u15 SAFA national soccer tournament where WP won the tournament

I coach Westerford High School U17A football and at Sporting Chance where I coach children between the ages 3 and 12.
My goal for my U9 CBFC is to help them fall in love with the the game, as well as help them develop as footballers.
