Bobby Breen & 

Andy Hewie

Bobby Breen
Bobby played professional Football (late 70s, early 80s) in Durban for Durban City African Wanderers and Manning Rangers. He arrived in Cape Town in 1982 and continued playing professionally.

Both of Bobby’s sons, Robert and Cameron, played at Camps Bay FC from 6 years old.

When the CBFC 1st Team were relegated from the Premier League in 2012, Bobby was asked to become the 1st Team Manager. In 2015, just after two seasons of rebuilding, the team won promotion back to the Premier League, losing only 1 Game in 30. Bobby then joined Green Point Salesians and achieved their promotion in 2017 from the 2nd Division to the 1st Division, losing only 1 Game in 22.

Andy Hewie

Andy was born in London, England. He has played football for Arcadia Shepherds, Jeppe Quondam (Johannesburg) and Greenpoint Salesians. He coached at Greenpoint Salesians for 5+ years. His coaching achievement include:  promotions, cup wins, tournament wins.  Coaching qualifications: English F.A. & Scottish F.A. qualifications and ongoing qualifications and courses. Andy 

 

Intent for the CBFC 1st team:  Camps Bay Seniors are now in the 2nd Division. Bobby and Andy plan on building and preparing the team to challenge for promotion in the 2020 season.

- 2018-current: Camps Bay FC Ladies, Legends and will continue to coach the Ladies team in 2020
